Project Information

ACCIONA delivers the Southern Program Alliance, removing level crossings and improving rail safety and reliability across Melbourne. The Alliance's scope now extends from the Frankston line through Sunshine, removing crossings at Newport and Spotswood and realigning freight and passenger lines. This is a significant, long term program of rail infrastructure improvement.

About the Opportunity

You will report to the Commercial Manager and provide administrative and finance support across a fast paced construction environment. Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and requisitions, and support procurement and vendor coordination for the Commercial team. Manage office resources, coordinate events, diaries and travel, and act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries. This role suits someone who wants broad exposure across construction administration and commercial processes, and a genuine step into the infrastructure industry.

Key accountabilities for the position will be

Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and requisitions accurately

Support procurement, vendor coordination and payment status tracking

Maintain accurate financial and vendor records in project systems

Coordinate site office resources, equipment and meeting logistics

Manage diaries, travel bookings and event coordination

Respond to stakeholder enquiries and escalate issues promptly

Support the Commercial Manager and Contract Administrators as required

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction or engineering
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
  • Current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle
