Role Overview
This Senior Project Engineer role leads engineering management for major MEP and mission-critical construction projects.
The role covers technical coordination, procurement planning, design compliance, engineering governance, site execution, and project close-out.
The position reports to the Technical Manager and leads Project Engineers while coordinating with project, commercial, planning, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, consultant, client, authority, and subcontractor teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and site coordination meetings and resolve technical issues with project stakeholders.
- Control drawings, specifications, contractual documentation, submissions, approvals, material submittals, and engineering deliverables.
- Manage procurement schedules, long-lead items, drafting outputs, document control, drawing trackers, and look-ahead schedules.
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, QA/QC documentation, and HSE compliance requirements.
- Lead value engineering and material take-offs while monitoring cost, technical performance, and constructability.
- Review designs, installation details, testing requirements, warranties, and commissioning documents before procurement.
- Monitor site installations and engineering progress against approved information, quality standards, and milestones.
