About the Role
Boskalis is seeking a Senior Project Buyer to lead procurement activities for dredging and marine construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves tender support, supplier management, and project procurement execution.

Responsibilities
- Support Tender Managers and Bid Teams during preparation and submission of tenders for dredging and marine construction projects
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, scope of work, commercial requirements, and procurement deliverables
- Obtain budgetary and firm quotations from suppliers and subcontractors within tender deadlines
- Analyze quotations, technical deviations, exclusions, qualifications, and commercial conditions
- Prepare detailed bid comparison sheets, commercial evaluations, and procurement recommendations
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions
- Prepare and maintain framework agreements with suppliers
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits in accordance with company procedures
- Act as Procurement Lead for assigned projects during execution and develop project procurement plans
- Procure project materials, equipment, marine services, vessel requirements, and subcontracted works
- Coordinate transportation, customs clearance, import/export activities, and delivery schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 8 years of procurement experience within dredging, marine construction, offshore, maritime, or EPC project environments
- Proven experience supporting both tendering and project execution activities
- Strong experience in technical and commercial bid evaluation and negotiating contracts
- Experience with ship spares, marine services, heavy equipment, and project procurement packages
- Experience working on international project sites and in multicultural environments
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Advanced ERP and procurement systems knowledge
- Willingness to travel internationally and work on project sites for extended periods
- NEVI, CIPS, CPPM, or equivalent procurement qualification preferred
- Contract Management certification considered an advantage

- Project Procurement Management: Act as Procurement Lead for assigned projects during execution.

- Procure project materials, equipment, marine services, vessel requirements, and subcontracted works.
Required Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 8 years of procurement experience within dredging, marine construction, offshore, maritime, or EPC project environments.
