Distribution’s Bridge Programme Management Office (PMO) provides governance and support across the Bridge Programme. This includes a Programme of more than £150m focusing on people, process, organisation, and technology transformation, targeting benefits and value realisation in excess of £100m
The PMO is responsible for establishing and ensuring robust and rigorous Bridge delivery processes (including governance, reporting, cost management, benefits management, risk management, strategic alignment, portfolio prioritisation and optimisation, project analysis, scenario planning, and management information development) for the safe and effective delivery of transformation.
Lead and maintain the governance, assurance and control framework for the £150m+ Bridge transformation programme.
Ensure effective operation of programme governance forums, including oversight of approvals, decision-making and project readiness.
Partner with project sponsors, programme leads and stakeholders to develop and implement governance plans across the programme portfolio.
Analyse and report on project and programme performance, providing insight that supports decision-making and continuous improvement.
Coach and support PMO Analysts and project teams to strengthen project governance, controls and PMO best practice

Experience operating in a project or programme environment with a strong understanding of governance frameworks, project lifecycles and delivery methodologies.
Proven experience within a PMO supporting large-scale transformation, change or project delivery programmes.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience using Excel, Power BI and project reporting tools to generate meaningful insights.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build effective working relationships at all levels.
Experience developing, implementing and continuously improving project and programme management standards, controls and governance processes.
