This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maximising the value of SSE Renewables' growing portfolio of renewable generation and storage assets. You'll act as the central point of coordination for Capacity Market and system services activities across Great Britain and Ireland, helping ensure our assets are successfully qualified, optimised and compliant while protecting millions of pounds of contracted revenue.
Working across development, operations, finance, commercial and regulatory teams, you'll influence the delivery of over 2GW of renewable and flexible generation assets, supporting the energy transition through effective participation in some of the most important electricity market mechanisms in the UK and Ireland.
Lead qualification, application and auction activities across Capacity Market and system services schemes, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Manage ongoing contractual, regulatory and operational obligations to protect revenue streams and minimise commercial and compliance risk.
Coordinate multiple stakeholders across development, operational and commercial teams to ensure assets remain eligible, compliant and operationally ready.
Develop and maintain robust governance, assurance and reporting processes, ensuring all activities are fully documented and audit ready.

Identify opportunities to enhance commercial performance through optimisation activities, market participation strategies and risk management initiatives.
Experience managing complex commercial, contractual, regulatory or compliance-driven processes, ideally within the energy or utilities sector.
