About the Role
The Senior Product Quality Engineer will help ensure manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards through inspections, data analysis, and cross-functional quality assurance.
The role is currently based in Lexington, Massachusetts and is relocating to Waltham, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Improve product design, manufacturing, suppliers, service, and field support to increase reliability across the product lifecycle.
- Drive Quality Management System compliance and sustainability to AS9100 certification.
- Develop quality KPIs and use data to prioritize and track product quality and reliability.
- Improve tracking tools for supplier incoming, manufacturing in-process, and field quality issues.
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions internally and with suppliers.
- Support supplier inspection, incoming inspection, Material Review Board, containment, audit, and disposition activities.
- Contribute to supplier evaluation, selection, qualification, and performance management.
- Partner with production on inspection, process control plans, end-of-line tests, and quality requirements for customer shipments.
