What You’ll Do
- Complete full-cycle PCB design from requirements and schematic design through layout, bring-up, testing, debugging, and system integration.
- Develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
- Design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors with vehicle development teams.
- Develop system interconnect diagrams and define vehicle wire harnesses.
- Support air-vehicle subsystem development within broader system constraints.
- Conduct vendor surveys and evaluations for component sourcing.
- Participate in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
- Build and test components through laboratory, ground, and flight tests.
- Develop low-level firmware for bring-up and testing.
- Perform root cause analysis for field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus three or more years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
- Competence with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB interfaces.
- Familiarity with MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices and technologies.
- Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
- Comfort with electronic CAD tools; Altium is preferred, while Eagle and other tools are acceptable.
