Senior Product Manager (Financial Services & AI-Enabled Products) (m/f/d)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from discovery and business requirements through strategy, implementation, rollout, adoption, and improvement.
• Lead enterprise financial products focused on payments, settlement systems, transaction processing, regulatory platforms, or related infrastructure.
• Translate business, regulatory, and customer needs into scalable product solutions.
• Define product architecture, functional requirements, priorities, delivery plans, roadmaps, and strategic plans with engineering.
• Apply AI to improve products, customer experiences, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Manage stakeholders across clients, regulators, vendors, partners, engineering, product, and executive leadership.
• Lead complex initiatives independently and mentor junior product professionals.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies relevant to financial services.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, FinTech, banking, payments, insurance, or related regulated industries.
• Significant experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Lead, or equivalent product owner.
• Experience owning products from discovery and design through launch, adoption, and scale.
• Success building products from concept through commercial deployment and growth.
• Strong understanding of at least one relevant area, including payments, settlement systems, transaction processing, banking infrastructure, open banking, regulatory platforms, or core banking products.
• Ability to discuss payment flows, transaction lifecycles, controls, regulatory considerations, and operational impacts.
• Technical aptitude covering architecture, integrations, APIs, platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Practical experience applying and evaluating AI capabilities in product and financial services environments.
• Experience leading complex initiatives independently and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience building, mentoring, or leading product teams.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Experience in commercial banking, payment networks, financial infrastructure, central bank initiatives, or government financial programs.
• Experience with open banking, open finance, digital identity, regulatory technology, or financial data platforms.
• Experience in UAE, GCC, UK, European, Singaporean, Hong Kong, or similar regulated markets.
• Exposure to AI platforms, data products, analytics platforms, or intelligent automation initiatives.
• Prior background in software engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or another technical discipline.
