Role Overview

The role is a Senior Product Manager position focused on financial services and AI-enabled products.

The employer delivers enterprise-grade banking software and financial technology products in highly regulated environments.

The role owns a key product area initially, with potential to expand into larger portfolios and team leadership.

This is a financial services product management role where practical AI capability is essential, not an AI-only product management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through strategy, implementation, rollout, adoption, and improvement.
  • Lead enterprise financial products involving payments, settlement, transaction processing, regulatory platforms, or related infrastructure.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and customer needs into scalable product solutions.
  • Define product architecture, functional requirements, prioritization, delivery plans, roadmaps, and strategic plans with engineering.
  • Apply AI to improve financial products, customer experiences, processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, regulators, vendors, and external partners.
  • Lead complex initiatives independently and mentor junior product professionals.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies relevant to financial services.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services, FinTech, banking, payments, insurance, or related regulated industries.
  • Significant experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Lead, or equivalent product owner.
  • Experience owning products through discovery, design, launch, adoption, and scale, including 0-to-1 product development.
  • Strong understanding of one or more of payments, settlement systems, transaction processing, banking infrastructure, Open Banking, regulatory platforms, or core banking products.
  • Ability to discuss payment flows, transaction lifecycles, controls, regulatory considerations, and operational impacts at product level.
  • Strong technical aptitude covering architecture, integrations, APIs, platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Practical experience applying AI in products and evaluating AI opportunities for financial products and processes.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives, managing senior stakeholders, and building, mentoring, or leading product teams.

Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial banking, payment networks, financial infrastructure providers, central bank initiatives, or government financial programs.
  • Experience with Open Banking, Open Finance, digital identity, regulatory technology, or financial data platforms.
  • Experience in UAE, GCC, UK, European, Singaporean, Hong Kong, or similarly regulated financial markets.
  • Exposure to AI platforms, data products, analytics platforms, or intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Prior software engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or another technical discipline is desirable.
