Senior Product Manager (Financial Services & AI-Enabled Products) (m/f/d)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from discovery, requirements, and strategy through implementation, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Lead enterprise financial products involving payments, settlement systems, transaction processing, regulatory platforms, or related infrastructure.
• Translate business, regulatory, and customer needs into scalable product solutions.
• Define architecture, functional requirements, prioritization, delivery plans, roadmaps, and strategic plans with engineering teams.
• Apply AI to products, processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency.
• Manage stakeholders, clients, regulators, vendors, and partners while leading complex initiatives independently.
• Mentor junior product professionals and support a high-performing product organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to financial services.

Financial Services and Product Management

• At least 10 years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, payments, insurance, or related regulated industries.
• Significant experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Lead, or equivalent.
• Proven ownership of products from discovery and design through launch, adoption, and scale.
• Demonstrated success building products from concept through commercial deployment and growth.

Payments and Financial Infrastructure

• Strong understanding of one or more of payments, settlement systems, transaction processing, banking infrastructure, open banking, regulatory platforms, or core banking products.
• Ability to discuss payment flows, transaction lifecycles, controls, regulatory considerations, and operational impacts at product level.

Technical and AI Capability

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage engineering teams on architecture, integrations, APIs, platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Practical experience applying AI through intelligent automation, AI-powered experiences, copilots, decision support, or agentic workflows.
• Ability to evaluate how AI can improve financial products and business processes.

Leadership and Stakeholders

• Experience leading large, complex initiatives independently.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across executives, clients, engineering, product, regulatory, compliance, and external partners.
• Experience building, mentoring, or leading product teams.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Experience in commercial banking, payment networks, financial infrastructure, central bank initiatives, or government financial programs.
• Experience with open banking, open finance, digital identity, regulatory technology, or financial data platforms.
• Experience in highly regulated markets such as the UAE, GCC, UK, Europe, Singapore, or Hong Kong.
• Exposure to AI platforms, data products, analytics platforms, or intelligent automation.
• Prior background in software engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or another technical discipline.
