About the Role
A confidential company is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer for its MEP Division with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and experience in MEP contracting.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end procurement activities for MEP projects
- Finalize and procure major electrical and MEP systems including ELV, generators, lighting, switchgears, transformers, etc.
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize subcontractors for electrical and MEP installations
- Review project drawings, technical specifications, and BOQ to determine procurement requirements
- Obtain quotations and prepare detailed comparative statements
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations for procurement decisions
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements
- Coordinate with vendors for material approvals and delivery tracking
- Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain vendor database and conduct vendor evaluation
- Handle import/export documentation and logistics coordination when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong track record of working with MEP contracting companies
- Extensive experience in managing procurement activities for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and ELV systems
- Experience with subcontractor finalization for large scale building and infrastructure projects
