Overview

The SaaS sector is advancing at an unprecedented rate, yet conventional SaaSOps organizations continue to depend on manual workflows and reactive incident response rather than proactive, AI-enabled automation.

Organizations are hemorrhaging millions through inefficient cloud operations, experiencing preventable outages, and struggling to scale quickly enough to meet ambitious expansion targets.

Trilogy is charting a different course—acquiring no fewer than one SaaS company monthly and fully committing to AI transformation to establish the industry's most sophisticated, automated SaaS Ops capability.

Trilogy manages a diverse portfolio of SaaS enterprises, each featuring distinct architecture, customer bases, and operational complexities.

Rather than viewing SaaS Ops as an overhead expense, we recognize it as a strategic differentiator.

We are constructing a world-class, AI-driven SaaS Ops capability engineered to maximize availability, simplify operations, and optimize cloud expenditure across dozens of products.

This represents an opportunity to architect and implement SaaS Ops strategy at enterprise scale, harnessing automation, AI, and industry-leading operational design to establish a new benchmark.

This is not a traditional corporate IT or infrastructure oversight position.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who has constructed and owned SaaS Ops at a SaaS organization, not merely participated as a team member.

The ideal candidate is a technical authority first, a leader second—someone who excels at architecting scalable systems, embedding automation, and executing high-impact operational decisions.

You'll be accountable for architecting the future of SaaS Ops across a varied portfolio of SaaS businesses, ensuring frictionless product integrations, and deploying AI to build an automated, exceptionally efficient operations engine.

You'll collaborate with world-class peers across Engineering, Product, and C-Suite leadership to architect and deliver this vision.

If you possess strong convictions about how SaaS Ops should operate, embrace the challenge of optimizing multi-product ecosystems, and are eager to pioneer AI-driven operations, this role is designed for you.

Apply now to claim ownership of a career-defining opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Architect and deploy best-in-class SaaS Ops strategies grounded in deep expertise and strong convictions regarding operational excellence
  • Drive critical decisions on operational standards, AI tooling, and process architecture to guarantee reliability, security, and cost optimization portfolio-wide
  • Construct and refine a framework for integrating newly acquired SaaS products into a unified SaaS Ops function with zero operational friction
  • Optimize the deployment of AI-powered tools for automation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Supervising the manual labor and repetitive tasks of conventional SaaS Ops; your emphasis will be on automation and AI-driven innovation
  • Administering operations for a single product; you'll be navigating complexity across hundreds of products in our SaaS portfolio
  • Accepting the status quo; you'll be tasked with disrupting and reimagining operations through AI technologies

Senior Principal Architect Key Responsibilities

  • Own a highly efficient, AI-powered SaaS Ops function that delivers exceptional reliability, cost optimization, and seamless operations for a growing portfolio of acquired SaaS businesses

Basic Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and owning SaaS Ops supporting enterprise customers
  • Experience owning SaaS Ops and leading major cloud migrations at an SME with enterprise customers
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to SaaS operations
  • Advanced AWS and DevOps skills (including Docker and Kubernetes)
