Senior Platform Engineer - AWS

Design, build and support secure, scalable and reliable platform capabilities across AWS

Develop and improve self-service tooling that enables engineering teams to deliver software more efficiently

Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies to enhance our Internal Developer Platform

Support platform reliability, observability and operational excellence across production environments

Collaborate closely with development teams to improve developer experience and remove delivery bottlenecks

Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code, automation and platform engineering best practices

Contribute to platform architecture and technical decisions, helping to shape future platform capabilities

Troubleshoot complex platform issues and support incident resolution when required

Share knowledge, mentor engineers and help raise technical standards across the team

Strong experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps roles within cloud-native environments

Proven production experience with EKS, Istio service mesh and GitOps, with exposure to GKE and/or Azure environments

Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Crossplane and GitLab CI/CD

Strong Linux administration skills and experience building self-service platform capabilities at scale

Good understanding of security, including Vault and IAM, alongside observability tooling such as Grafana, Thanos, Loki, Tempo and Jaeger

Experience supporting production platforms, including incident response and operational ownership

A pragmatic engineering mindset with a strong sense of ownership, a passion for automation, and the ability to positively influence and mentor others
