About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Planning Officer Line to support the technical planning team at flydubai. You will monitor work packages, conduct audits, and ensure fleet maintenance compliance.

Responsibilities
- Monitor compilation and issuance of work packages for the flydubai fleet on a daily basis
- Monitor progress of ongoing maintenance activities and provide updates
- Conduct audits of completed work packages and assist Technical Records team
- Follow up and resolve delays in completion of work packages
- Provide planning and production control/support, including preparation of maintenance work packages
- Oversee delivery and recording of maintenance received work packages
- Conduct audits to ensure handover logs are adequately maintained in AMOS
- Review and respond to assigned Technical Assistance Queries in AMOS
- Ensure pick slips for preloading materials are raised on time
- Ensure reporting back/closure of completed work packages and maintenance tasks correctly and on time
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in Engineering
- 4 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning
- ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or Engineering Apprenticeship
- Working knowledge of CAR M, CAR 145, CDCCL & EWIS and critical maintenance tasks
- Fluent in English

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
- To provide functional support to the technical planning team and to ensure that the flydubai fleet is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors the compilation and issuance of work packages for the flydubai fleet on a daily basis.
- Monitors progress of ongoing maintenance activities and provides updates as required by planning teams.
- Conducts audits of completed work packages and assists the Technical Records team in identifying and raising engineering errors.
- Follows up and resolves any delays in the completion of work packages to ensure smooth completion.
- Provides planning and production control/support as required, including the preparation of maintenance work packages and supporting data.
- Oversees the delivery and recording of maintenance received work packages and ensures maintenance records are delivered to Technical Records.
- Conducts audits and provides oversight to ensure that handover logs are adequately maintained in AMOS.
- Reviews and responds to assigned Technical Assistance Queries in AMOS.
- Ensures that pick slips for preloading materials required for line maintenance work packages are raised on time.
- Ensures the reporting back/closure of completed work packages and maintenance tasks are done correctly and on time.
- Ensures correct reasons for deferment are mentioned and that deferments reports are sent to Tech Planners for re planning each shift.
- Ensures that check package findings are accurately recorded on task cards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Engineering Degree
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CAR M, CAR 145, CDCCL & EWIS and critical maintenance tasks
- Occurrence reporting system
- Years with qualifications: 4 6 years
- ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or Engineering Apprenticeship
