- Track physical/financial progress against baselines, identify critical path variances, and manage resource histograms, S curves, and cash flow
- Perform forensic schedule analysis (e.g., Time Impact Analysis) and draft Extension of Time (EoT) claims and recovery schedules
- Align site execution, procurement, commercial, and engineering teams; integrate subcontractor schedules into the master plan
- Generate accurate progress reports, executive dashboards, and KPI metrics for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10–12+ years in civil construction planning
- 5+ years in a Senior Planning role
- Proven track record in UAE managing large scale roads, highways, earthworks, bridges, tunnels, and utility networks
- Expert in Primavera P6 and MS Excel

Job Summary
- The Senior Planning Engineer develops, maintains, and analyzes master schedules for large scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities).
- Working closely with Project and Construction Managers, you will ensure projects are accurately resource loaded, monitored, and delivered using Primavera P6.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, resource and cost loaded baseline schedules in Primavera P6.
- Track physical/financial progress against baselines, identify critical path variances, and manage resource histograms, S curves, and cash flow.
- Perform forensic schedule analysis (e.g., Time Impact Analysis) and draft Extension of Time (EoT) claims and recovery schedules.
- Align site execution, procurement, commercial, and engineering teams; integrate subcontractor schedules into the master plan.
- Generate accurate progress reports, executive dashboards, and KPI metrics for stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10–12+ years in civil construction planning, with 5+ years in a Senior Planning role.
- Proven track record in the UAE managing large scale roads, highways, earthworks, bridges, tunnels, and wet/dry utility networks.
- Expert in Primavera P6 and MS Excel (MS Project, Power BI, or 4D BIM/Navisworks are strong advantages).
Key Competencies
- Deep knowledge of heavy civil construction sequencing, production rates, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and their impact on timelines and claims.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to present complex data clearly under pressure.
