Role Overview
Monitor building construction programmes, validate progress, and provide schedule analysis and reporting from the consultant's perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractor baseline programmes and updates and provide recommendations to project management.
- Monitor progress against the approved programme and identify slippage, delays, critical-path impacts, and milestone risks.
- Review look-ahead schedules, recovery programmes, manpower histograms, resource schedules, and S-curves.
- Conduct site verification to validate reported progress and activity status.
- Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, MEP, QS, and other disciplines on progress data and forecasting.
- Analyze schedule effects of variations, changes, instructions, and key project events.
- Support Extension of Time claims and delay analyses with the Project Manager and QS.
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation, acceleration, or recovery measures.
- Maintain planning records, programme logs, and schedule correspondence for project controls and claims.
- Participate in meetings and prepare progress, planning, and delay-analysis reports.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and construction programme analysis.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant GCC experience.
- Minimum 5 years with an engineering consultancy in construction supervision.
- Relevant experience on residential building projects.
- Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi codes and regulations.
