Overview

  • This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of payroll accounting operations across multiple entities and international markets.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency while supporting a growing global workforce.
  • Working closely with HR, Legal, Treasury, Tax teams, and external partners, you will help maintain reliable payroll processes and financial controls.

Accountabilities

  • Calculating payroll and personnel related expenses for assigned entities
  • Coordinating payroll activities across multiple countries, legal entities, and external service providers
  • Collaborating with HR, Legal, Treasury, and Tax teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Performing payroll related account reconciliations and supporting month end closing activities
  • Managing relationships and communication with external payroll providers, accounting firms, EOR partners
  • Reviewing and validating payroll calculations prepared by outsourced teams
  • Ensuring payroll data is complete, accurate, and delivered according to deadlines
  • Supporting payroll software, reporting tools, and related systems
  • Developing, documenting, and enhancing payroll processes, controls, and workflows
  • Identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements
  • Supporting payroll audits by preparing documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Investigating and resolving payroll related issues

Requirements

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, including significant experience with payroll accounting and personnel related expenses
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, internal controls, and month end closing processes
  • Experience managing relationships with external payroll providers, outsourced teams, EORs
  • General knowledge of payroll related tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions; familiarity with UAE and UK payroll is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn country specific payroll regulations
  • Proven ability to create, streamline, and improve operational processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience using payroll software, EOR platforms, and ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite
  • Proactive, hands on, and solution oriented approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
