Experienced Senior Oracle Ebs Technical Consultants
to join a critical support project based in Doha, Qatar.
The selected consultants will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, incident resolution, system maintenance, and enhancements for an Oracle EBS environment (version 12.2.10 and above).
The role demands deep technical expertise combined with functional understanding of
Finance and Procurement modules
, as well as strong communication skills to coordinate with end users, functional teams, and client stakeholders.
This is an all-inclusive monthly rate engagement, and the supplier is expected to manage all logistics including visa, travel, accommodation, and medical insurance.
Technical Support & Maintenance
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for Oracle EBS 12.2.10+ production and test environments
- Diagnoses and resolve complex technical issues related to forms, reports, interfaces, concurrent programs, workflows, and alerts
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
- Handle service requests and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs
Development & Customization
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports (RDF), XML Publisher, and OAF
- Develop and modify Workflow processes and Alerts as per business requirements
- Implement Forms personalization to meet evolving business needs without altering core objects
- Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for performance-critical operations
Finance & Procurement Focus
- Work extensively on
Oracle Ebs Finance Modules
- (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets)
- Work on
- Procurement modules
(Purchasing, iProcurement, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle Management)
- Understand end-to-end business processes and provide technical solutions aligned with standard Oracle functionality
Integration & Interfaces
- Support existing integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems
- Develop new inbound/outbound interfaces using APIs, SQL*Loader, and custom PL/SQL scripts
- Troubleshoot interface failures and ensure data integrity across systems
Solution Analysis & Coordination
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Prepare technical specification documents, unit test plans, and migration scripts
- Coordinate with the Technical Manager (Mr. Alaa) and Project Manager (Mr. Sadiq) for issue prioritization and status reporting
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams as needed
Compliance & Best Practices
- Follow Oracle coding standards, security guidelines, and performance tuning best practices
- Ensure all developments are properly version-controlled and migrated through proper SDLC cycles
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum
- 8+ years
- of total experience in Oracle EBS implementation and support projects
- Hands-on experience with
- Oracle EBS version 12.2.10 or higher
- (experience with 12.2.x upgrades is a plus)
- Strong proficiency in
- Oracle EBS Finance and Procurement modules
- — both technical architecture and functional understanding
- Proven track record in a
- support project environment
- (incident management, SLA adherence, root cause analysis)
Technical Skills (Expert Level Required)
- **PL/SQL:**
- Complex queries, bulk operations, collections, exception handling, performance tuning
- **OAF (Oracle Application Framework):**
- Personalization, custom pages, controller extensions, OA Framework page development
- **XML Publisher:**
- BI Publisher reports, RTF/eText templates, bursting, scheduling, parameterized reports
- **RDF Reports:**
- Oracle Reports Builder, matrix reports, formula columns, lexical parameters
- **Workflow:**
- Workflow builder, item types, activities, notifications, event subscriptions
- **Alerts:**
- Periodic and event-based alerts, exception reporting, action sets
- **Forms Personalization:**
- Customization of standard Oracle Forms without modifying underlying code
