Position Summary
Provide internal ownership, governance, and technical oversight of the organization’s on-premises cloud infrastructure while managing AMS/vendor performance, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern infrastructure operations and oversee AMS service delivery.
- Manage vendor SLAs, KPIs, incidents, RCAs, changes, and escalations.
- Review and approve production changes and participate in CAB.
- Oversee monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, IAM, capacity, and performance.
- Support security, audits, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
- Coordinate operational readiness for infrastructure projects and migrations.
- Drive automation, service improvements, and ITIL best practices.
- Engage business stakeholders and provide operational reporting.
Required Experience
- 8–12 years in enterprise infrastructure operations or engineering.
- At least 5 years managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Minimum 3 years managing outsourced/AMS service providers.
- Experience with hybrid/on-prem cloud, ITIL processes, vendor governance, incident/change management, and infrastructure transformation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- ITIL Foundation (required).
- Preferred certifications: VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure/Hybrid Administrator, RHCSA, Security+, CISSP, ISO 27001, PRINCE2 or PMP.
