Senior Offshore Material Coordinator

Role Overview

Material Management

• Plan and execute material management from identification to offshore delivery and project close-out.
• Develop and apply project-specific material management procedures and improve processes to address gaps.
• Oversee procurement, tracking, storage, issuance, and certification of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records, calibration logs, documentation, and photographs.
• Validate procurement lists with engineering and construction teams.
• Monitor stock, identify shortages, and escalate procurement needs.

Offshore Logistics and Stores

• Implement Bag & Tag according to work packs and ensure preservation and reconciliation of tools and surplus.
• Generate material issuance notes and offshore material status reports.
• Support offshore teams with real-time logistics and materials coordination.
• Manage offshore AMRs and supervise storekeepers for compliance.
• Coordinate logistics, customs documentation, and cargo load-outs for sea transport.
• Track safe and timely offshore material delivery and prepare RTS documentation and final inventory.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma in a related discipline or an equivalent qualification.
• Hold a certification in logistics or supply chain management.
• Hold valid offshore training certifications.
• Have at least five years of material and logistics coordination experience focused on offshore operations.
• Understand the offshore oil and gas, energy, or EPCI sector.
• Understand logistics and transportation to KSA by road, air, and sea.

Technical and Communication Skills

• Use Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Use SAP or similar Oracle-based software deployed in a previous organization.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in spoken and written English.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have experience developing offshore construction tool, tackle, and equipment lists.
• Have experience with offshore store operations controlling material issuance.
