- Excellent English communication skills
- Firefighting certificate is highly desired
- Ability to provide cover within 3 hours in case of emergency
- Maintain good appearance and clean shaven for SCBA use

Job Description
- To ensure operational readiness of all fire and rescue services resources through training, maintenance, exercises, and drills.
- To be proactive in fire prevention and forming relationships with Abu Dhabi Ports stakeholders and external agencies.
Core Responsibilities
- Implement day to day operations to ensure efficient emergency response and timely accurate reporting.
- Act as On Scene Commander to emergency calls, unforeseen circumstances, and requests for assistance.
- Arrange training and assessing to all subordinates via a competency based system.
- Track the preventative maintenance system for all equipment related to response.
- Ensure enforcement of all laws and ordinances within legal jurisdiction of Port authority.
- Ensure a suitable level of fitness for self and subordinate.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environment management policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety, Engineering, Science, HSE, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Firefighting certificate is highly desired.
- Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 0 1 years of experience in a similar role.
- Preferred knowledge of fire suppression methods, practices, and techniques.
- Knowledge of fire and emergency response equipment operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety standards and precautions for fire equipment and suppression activities.
- Effective supervisory methods, practices, and techniques.
- Demonstrate fire service discipline and act responsibly.
- Be ready to provide cover at short notice within 3 hours in case of emergency.
- Maintain good appearance, clean shaven to use SCBA properly, and wear clean uniform.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in oral and written form.
