About the Role
Abu Dhabi Ports is seeking a Senior Officer Security Operations to oversee day-to-day security operations across assigned sites. The role involves supervising security personnel, incident response, access control, patrols, and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Act as on site senior authority during shifts, providing functional direction to security officers and contracted personnel.
- Ensure effective access control, perimeter security, patrols, and monitoring of designated areas.
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, initiating immediate action and escalation.
- Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and checks to identify security risks or non compliance.
- Support implementation of Security Plans, Security Assessments, and Group Security Action Plans.
- Coordinate with UCC, operations teams, emergency responders, and authorities during incidents and drills.
- Ensure proper shift handover with clear communication of incidents, risks, and outstanding tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all security related information.
- Ensure compliance with ISPS Code, AD Ports Group security policies, and national security regulations.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
Requirements
- High school or Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field is preferable
- 0 1 year of experience in security operations
- Very good in Arabic (speak, read, write)
- Very good in English (speak, read, write)
- Knowledge of ISPS and national security requirements

Job Overview
- The Senior Officer Security Operations is responsible for effective execution of day to day security operations across assigned sites and shifts.

Educational and Technical Qualifications
- High school or Diploma.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field is preferable.
- Familiarity in security operations.
- ISPS knowledge & national security requirements.
Language Skills
- Very Good in Arabic (Speak, Read and write).
- Very Good in English (Speak, Read and write).
Experience
- Minimum 0 1 Years of Experience in the same or similar role.
- Experience in security operations, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Coordination with internal departments and external authorities.
- Managing security guards and shift operations.
- Ability to handle crisis situations and operational risks.
- Investigation and reporting of security incidents.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the on site senior authority during shifts, providing functional direction and guidance to security officers and contracted security personnel.

- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, initiating immediate action and escalating to the Supervisor and UCC as required.
- Ensure all incidents, observations, and operational activities are accurately recorded and reported within defined timelines.
- Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and checks to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, or non compliance.
- Support implementation of Security Plans, Security Assessments, and Group Security Action Plans at site level.
- Coordinate with UCC, operations teams, emergency responders, and authorities during incidents and drills.
- Participate in security drills and exercises and support post exercise reviews and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper shift handover, including clear communication of incidents, risks, and outstanding tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all security related information.
- Ensure compliance with ISPS Code, AD Ports Group security policies, and applicable national security regulations.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks, ensuring timely closure of assigned corrective actions.
