Job Purpose

Support effective implementation of the ADNOC HSE Control framework for Transportation Safety.

Influence ADNOC Onshore contractors and subcontractors to comply with the Transportation Safety Corporate Manual and Corporate Practices.

Perform HSE inspections across operational sites and support systematic transportation-safety performance analysis.

Transportation Safety

  • Implement ADNOC Onshore transportation safety standards across operations.
  • Conduct field audits, inspections, and spot checks on vehicles, drivers, and journey-management systems.
  • Analyze driver behavior and vehicle performance data from IVMS, AFDD, DMS, telematics, and GPS systems.
  • Verify contractor compliance and enforce corrective actions for identified gaps.
  • Investigate road-traffic incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Coordinate transportation-safety campaigns, site actions, and corrective-action closure.
  • Provide technical support on journey management, vehicle safety, and monitoring systems.
  • Assess training providers and verify driver training effectiveness and competency.

Supervision and Governance

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills.
  • Implement department policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures in line with company and international standards.
  • Comply with applicable legislation, legal regulations, HSE policies, sustainability guidelines, and the ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reporting and Improvement

  • Provide input to department and section budgets and investigate significant variances for cost control.
  • Design tools and techniques to improve operational process quality and efficiency.
  • Provide inputs for section management information and progress reports.
  • Identify improvements against best practices and ISO standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or another relevant discipline is required.
  • An internationally recognized Transportation Safety certification is required.
  • At least five years of road-safety experience is required, including strategies, standards, systems, procedures, and training.
  • Knowledge of general safety, loss prevention, traffic and road-safety education, and awareness is required.
  • Knowledge of fleet management systems is required.

Working Relationships

Internal stakeholders include Operations, Technical, Projects, company employees, HSE staff, inspection, and internal audit teams.

External stakeholders include site contractors, visitors, Abu Dhabi and Dubai Police, ADNOC Group companies, and vendors.
