Job Purpose
Operate and monitor process plant and facilities in the assigned area according to operating procedures and company HSE standards.
Plant Operations
- Carry out assigned operational work safely and in line with standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine equipment checks, report defects, and coordinate servicing with the supervisor.
- Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates during shutdown and start-up operations.
- Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance and ensure proper functioning with connected systems.
- Receive chemicals, maintain stock and consumption records, and prepare chemical batches for the process.
- Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls.
- Obtain work permits, follow up on jobs, and monitor contractor activities for safety compliance.
- Perform Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer duties during emergencies when required.
- Communicate with and follow the supervisor's instructions.
- Prepare KPI commitment checklists for management review.
Minimum Qualification
- Technical diploma in a relevant field or secondary school certificate.
- Four years of plant operations experience in a large industrial plant in the oil and gas industry.
