Role Overview

Network and Security Operations

• Manage enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, VPNs, and secure remote access.
• Configure and maintain NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security, proxy, NAC, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust controls.
• Optimize log forwarding, NetFlow, packet capture, and telemetry feeds to SOC tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Support ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and participate in cyber incident response, containment, isolation, and forensic collection.
• Maintain availability, redundancy, resilience, DR/BCP readiness, and regular failover testing.
• Coordinate vendors and service providers on troubleshooting, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, SLA management, and integrations.
• Perform root-cause analysis, implement preventive actions, and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, configurations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and configuration management and continuously monitor performance and security using SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Five to eight years of network administration experience in banking or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, and enterprise switching and routing technologies.
• Experience integrating network infrastructure with SIEM platforms and NDR solutions.
• Strong knowledge of secure network design, segmentation, VPN technologies, and firewall rule management.
• Familiarity with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO requirements.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
• Hands-on disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution experience.
• Cloud networking, Azure or AWS, hybrid connectivity, and secure cloud architecture experience is preferred.
• Experience in vendor coordination, SLA management, and third-party integration support.
