React Native Developer

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain React Native mobile applications.
• Integrate banking services including onboarding, authentication, payments, transfers, cards, notifications, and transaction history.
• Collaborate with backend, API, architecture, business analysis, QA, DevOps, security, and support teams.
• Investigate production incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.

Security

• Implement secure mobile development practices for banking environments.
• Apply OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, MFA, biometric authentication, secure storage, and data protection controls where applicable.
• Address vulnerabilities identified through security assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.

API and Performance

• Consume REST APIs and JSON services while handling authentication, errors, timeouts, retries, and response validation.
• Improve responsiveness, memory usage, startup time, rendering, state management, API calls, and large-data handling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot crashes, ANRs, memory leaks, and other mobile performance issues.

Native Development and Testing

• Support Android and iOS development using Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode, CocoaPods, and native dependencies.
• Maintain unit, integration, component, functional, regression, performance, and security tests.
• Use Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or equivalent testing tools.

CI/CD and Production Support

• Operate CI/CD pipelines and support releases through Google Play Console and Apple App Store or TestFlight.
• Use Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or equivalent release technologies.
• Manage configuration, versioning, rollback, production deployment, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software or mobile application development experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on React Native development experience.
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux or Redux Toolkit, REST API, architecture, security, testing, and CI/CD knowledge.
• Experience developing and debugging applications on both Android and iOS.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking, fintech, payments, digital banking, financial services, enterprise, or regulated-environment experience is highly preferred.
• React Navigation, Reanimated, Gesture Handler, Firebase, biometric authentication, secure storage, deep linking, offline synchronization, WebSockets, native development, or Fastlane experience is advantageous.
• Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, or API gateway experience is advantageous.
