About the Role

Responsibilities
- Understand Vendor/Manufacturer Quality System requirements
- Review and verify Manufacturer/Vendor documents as per Purchase Orders and specifications
- Carry out Material Receiving Inspection of all permanent Project Material by EPC Contractor
- Witness, verify and endorse Procedure and Welders qualification
- Review and approval of Inspection & Test Plans
- Review and approval of material certificates
- Monitor, inspect and approve all welding including welding procedures and NDT works
- Monitor, review and approve all PWHT works
- Review all radiographs/NDT reports
- Sign weld/NDT log
- Inspect Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Pressurized piping and structural works during fabrication
- Witness Hydrostatic & Pneumatic testing
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering
- CSWIP 3.2 or AWS Sr, CWI or ERS welding inspection and PCN level II qualification desirable; BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification required
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas/petrochemical industry, third party inspection
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English including technical reports
- Proven experience in liaising with EPC Contractors
- Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO and BS
