Hiring: Senior Microbiologist
We are looking for a qualified and experienced **Senior Microbiologist** to join our laboratory team.
The candidate will be responsible for performing, supervising, and reviewing microbiological testing activities while ensuring compliance with international standards and laboratory quality requirements.
Qualification:** Bachelor’s And Master’s Degree in Microbiology
**Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years in an accredited microbiology testing laboratory
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise microbiological analysis of food, water, environmental, air, hand swab, and surface swab samples
- Ensure testing as per ISO, APHA, BAM, GSO, and laboratory SOPs
- Review raw data, calculations, and test reports
- Monitor QC activities, media preparation, sterility checks, and equipment calibration
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and EIAC requirements
- Handle OOS investigations, CAPA, and documentation
- Train and guide laboratory staff and junior microbiologists
- Participate in audits, PT programs, and method validation/verification studies
Requirements
✔ Experience in food, water, and environmental microbiological analysis preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and laboratory accreditation requirements is mandatory
✔ Good documentation and communication skills
