- Comply with all laboratory rules, regulations, safety requirements, and QMS procedures
- Perform chemical analysis of food, water, and environmental samples using approved test methods
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and chemical solutions for testing
- Accurately record test results and complete raw data sheets
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory work area
- Carry out timely disposal of tested samples and laboratory waste
- Monitor and record daily temperatures of laboratory equipment
- Perform daily verification and routine checks of laboratory instruments
- Report equipment malfunction, deviations, or non conformities to the Laboratory Supervisor
- Assist in routine laboratory maintenance, calibration activities, and quality control procedures
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality requirements and laboratory documentation procedures
- Support senior chemists and laboratory management in day to day operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience (fresh graduates with relevant training may apply)
- Basic knowledge of chemical testing methods and laboratory instruments
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is an advantage
- Good analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and chemical solutions required for laboratory testing.
- Accurately record test results and ensure all raw data sheets are completed with the required information.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory work area and ensure the safe handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Carry out the timely disposal of tested samples and laboratory waste in accordance with laboratory procedures.
- Monitor and record the daily temperatures of refrigerators, incubators, water baths, and other laboratory equipment.
- Perform daily verification and routine checks of laboratory instruments, including weighing balances and pH meters.
- Report any equipment malfunction, deviations, or non conformities to the Laboratory Supervisor.
- Assist in routine laboratory maintenance, calibration activities, and quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality requirements and laboratory documentation procedures.
- Support senior chemists and laboratory management in day to day laboratory operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
