About the Role
Gulf Contracting & Landscaping is seeking a Senior MEP Engineer to lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering activities across construction projects.

- Lead MEP works across multiple construction projects from design review to project completion
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, authority regulations, and international standards
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
- Supervise MEP site activities and ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and method statements
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Resolve technical site issues and provide engineering solutions in coordination with consultants and project managers
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.)
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control procedures are strictly followed
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover processes
- Support project planning by providing input on MEP scope, timelines, and resources
- Track project progress and prepare regular technical and progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP engineering within contracting/construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and drainage systems
- Experience in UAE construction projects is highly preferred
- Familiarity with local authority regulations (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.)
- Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple project activities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Position Summary
- The Senior MEP Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering activities across assigned construction projects within the Contracting Division.
- The role ensures that all MEP systems are designed, coordinated, installed, and delivered in accordance with project specifications, authority regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
- The role requires strong technical expertise, site coordination capability, and leadership skills to manage subcontractors, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth execution from design stage through commissioning and handover.
