About the Role
CITIC Middle East Contracting is seeking a Senior MEP Coordinator in Dubai.
The role coordinates mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities across construction projects.
The position supports project timelines, quality standards, specifications, applicable codes, and safety requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP activities across site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines.
- Review MEP shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and site progress meetings.
- Identify, track, and resolve MEP clashes, design issues, and coordination matters.
- Monitor MEP installation, testing, and commissioning progress.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, specifications, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain MEP records, reports, schedules, and project documentation.
- Support project and construction managers with MEP milestones and objectives.
- Coordinate suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate MEP interfaces with architectural, structural, and civil works.
- Provide technical guidance to MEP coordinators, engineers, and site teams.
- Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and risk follow-up.
