Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, MEP, and civil drawings to avoid clashes.
  • Ensure openings, sleeves, and embedments are correctly shown.
  • Develop plans, sections, elevations, and details for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures.
  • Update drawings according to engineer markups, site changes, and consultant comments.
  • Follow company, project, and industry drafting standards for line weights, layers, annotations, and title blocks.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for issued, revised, approved, and as-built structural drawings.
  • Show rebar placement, lapping, bending, and spacing according to ACI, BS, Eurocode, or applicable codes.
  • Prepare bar bending schedules for reinforced concrete slabs, beams, columns, footings, shear walls, and staircases.

Job Requirements

  • Advanced AutoCAD capability is required.
  • The role requires 6–10+ years of experience and the ability to lead detailing and check others’ work.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural engineering plans, sections, elevations, and details.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, architects, and other draftsmen.
  • Problem-solving ability to resolve conflicts between architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail in dimensions, rebar schedules, and layer management.

Pay

  • Monthly pay is AED 8,000–AED 13,000.

  • The work location is in person.
