Role Overview

  • The Senior Marketing Specialist supports the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of marketing and communications strategies to fully support the objectives of the business, maximizing exposure to local and international audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the marketing strategy for QC+ business units, with a particular focus on in house F&B operations, e commerce, and retail activity.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure that the QC+ marketing strategy is successfully implemented by working closely with the QM marcomms function and key stakeholders.
  • Develop initiatives and programs to strengthen the brand value and reach of QC+ businesses (e.g., QC+ Gift Shop, IDAM by Alain Ducasse, Cass Art Qatar, etc.) and effectively drive increased revenues.
  • Develop and implement cross channel digital marketing activity (incorporating SEM, SEO, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Develop cross platform advertising and promotional campaigns, ensuring compatibility with public relations efforts, obtaining required approvals for all advertising activity.
  • Support the Head of Marketing & Communications with the development of marketing and communication budgets.
  • Maximize use of targeted market information, including customer profile, behavior, and yield data, for the planning and evaluation of marketing and communications activity.
  • Support the conduct of periodic analysis of the marketplace to evaluate market environment, audience groups and competitor offerings, recommending adaptations to QC+ communications accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with QM marketing and PR focal points, museum and exhibitions department management, QM IT, and QM audience engagement functions.
  • Conduct analysis of the results of marketing activity in order to gauge return on investment (where possible to evaluate a quantitative ROI) and identify learnings to improve future marketing activity.

Social Media

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing objectives.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a structured calendar of marketing and communication activities.
  • Ensure that content for social media channels is posted in a timely manner and that consumer reactions to posts/promotions are monitored.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance metrics and use data to continually refine and improve the company's social media strategy.

Content Creation

  • Develop content and materials in support of QC+ marketing and communication activity including, but not limited to, content for social media, media kits, content for websites related to QC+ business etc.
  • Maximize use of targeted market information, including customer profile, behaviour and yield data, for the planning and evaluation of marketing and communications activity.
