Responsibilities
- Develop persuasive investment communication and support for advisors and client audiences
- Craft and/or edit compelling and contextual original content for marketing, sales enablement, product launches, presentations, and digital properties
- Oversee and/or lead the production and approval process of contextual, accurate and timely commentary, investment insights and regulatory communications
- Establish close working relationships with key distribution channels, actively soliciting feedback
- Partner with various Marketing functions to ensure business needs, brand, presentation, and accessibility standards are met
- Act as a mutual fund/product SME for National Sales, Learning & Performance, Advice & Service Excellence, Marketing, and other functional groups
- Leverage market insights, digital trends, and competitive analysis to drive development of digital support
- Lead development of robust communication, training, and marketing/promotional activities for assigned digital projects
Requirements
- University degree
- IM and/or CFA Designation an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the asset management industry
- Demonstrated experience in product/investment communication, digital content, product marketing, or mutual fund sales/investment advice
- Ability to influence a broad array of internal and external relationships
- Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, and content management systems an asset

Purpose
- The Senior Manager, Product Communication & Experience is responsible for developing and implementing mutual fund and investment communications, tools, and other content rich support to grow and retain proprietary fund market share and enhance the overall advisor and client experience.
- The scope spans Canadian Branch Banking, Mobile Advice, Independent Dealer and Wealth Management and extends to multiple brands, wholesaling, advisor and client audiences.
What you will be doing
- Product Communication: Develop persuasive investment communication and support for advisors and client audiences.
- Develop effective communication to build, enhance and sustain retail advisors' knowledge and confidence with mutual fund conversations.
- Craft and/or edit compelling and contextual original content for various marketing and communications activities.
- Oversee and/or lead the production and approval process of contextual, accurate and timely commentary, investment insights and regulatory communications.
- Establish close working relationships with key distribution channels, actively soliciting feedback.
- Partner with various Marketing functions to ensure business needs, brand, presentation, and accessibility standards are met.
- Act as a mutual fund/product SME for National Sales, Learning & Performance, Advice & Service Excellence, Marketing, and other functional groups.
- Product Innovation: Cultivate the growth of compelling asset management focused digital tools and experiences.
- Leverage market insights, digital trends, and competitive analysis to drive the development of digital support.
- Lead the development of robust communication, training, and marketing/promotional activities for assigned digital projects.
- Act as a key investment and product SME on digital initiatives.
- Evaluate and optimize the usage of digital tools and communications by incorporating analytics, user feedback, and KPIs.
Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role?
- University degree.
- IM and/or CFA Designation an asset.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the asset management industry, with demonstrated experience in product/investment communication, digital content, product marketing, or mutual fund sales/investment advice.
