Responsibilities
- Serve as primary Canadian interface with US connected/integrated media team
- Lead external media and digital agency relationships including scope, performance, and investment accountability
- Partner with brand teams to translate brand strategy into integrated media plans
- Establish content planning frameworks, briefing standards, and marketing processes
- Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and scorecards
- Lead annual marketing effectiveness reviews and test and learn practices
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of three across Insights, Brand Content/PR/Influencer, and Marketing Operations
Requirements
- 7+ years in marketing, digital media, marketing excellence, or media strategy
- Deep working knowledge of modern digital media landscape (paid social, programmatic, search, retail media, influencer, content distribution)
- Proven ability to manage senior agency relationships and connect media investment to outcomes
- Builder's mindset with track record of creating or transforming processes, teams, or capabilities
- Strong cross functional influencer comfortable in matrixed organizations
- Experience in CPG, beverage, retail, or consumer led environments

About the Role
- This newly created role will lead KDP Canada’s Centre of Marketing Excellence for Cold Beverages.
- The role is the primary Canadian interface with US connected media and integrated marketing teams.
- This is a builder role with a strong digital, media, and marketing operations center of gravity.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as KDP Canada’s primary interface with the US connected/integrated media team.
- Lead external media and digital agency relationships.
- Partner with brand teams to translate brand strategy into integrated media plans.
- Drive adoption of modern digital capabilities across brand teams.
- Establish practical content planning frameworks and briefing standards.
- Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and scorecards.
- Lead annual marketing effectiveness reviews and test and learn practices.
- Serve as connective tissue between brand strategy and agency execution.
- Ensure marketing planning is grounded in consumer, category, and commercial understanding.
- Partner with Insights lead to prioritize the learning agenda.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of three.
- Serve as cross functional connector across Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Digital Shelf, and agency partners.
Experience
- 7+ years in marketing, digital media, marketing excellence, or media strategy.
- Deep working knowledge of modern digital media landscape.
- Proven ability to manage senior agency relationships.
- Builder’s mindset with track record of creating or transforming processes.
- Strong cross functional influencer.
- Experience in CPG, beverage, retail, or other consumer led environments.
- Familiarity with consumer insights methodologies, Nielsen/Numerator data is an asset.
Total Rewards
- Salary Range: CAD 119,500 – 156,000 annually.
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.
