- Lead UAE VAT advisory and compliance engagements
- Manage VAT health checks, FTA audits, voluntary disclosures, refund claims, and technical advisory assignments
- Lead e Invoicing readiness assessments, implementation support, and process transformation projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, Finance Leaders, and Tax Heads
- Review technical opinions, client deliverables, and advisory reports
- Manage engagement planning, budgeting, profitability, and delivery quality
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Support business development, proposal preparation, and client presentations
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise clients on VAT and e Invoicing developments
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent)
- 8–12+ years of relevant experience in UAE VAT Advisory and Indirect Tax
- Strong hands on experience with UAE VAT Compliance, FTA Audits, Voluntary Disclosures, VAT Advisory, and E Invoicing/Peppol Framework
- Proven experience managing teams and client engagements
- Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills

About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – VAT & E Invoicing to join our growing Tax Advisory Practice. Reporting directly to the Head of Practice, you will lead complex VAT advisory and compliance engagements while driving e Invoicing readiness and implementation projects across the UAE and GCC
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UAE VAT advisory and compliance engagements.
- Manage VAT health checks, FTA audits, voluntary disclosures, refund claims, and technical advisory assignments.
- Lead e Invoicing readiness assessments, implementation support, and process transformation projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, Finance Leaders, and Tax Heads.

Requirements

Preferred Background
- Current or recent experience in a Big 4, Tier 2 Audit, or Consulting Firm is highly preferred.
- Experience working with multiple client engagements across various industries.
- Knowledge of UAE and GCC VAT regulations and e Invoicing initiatives.
- Exposure to ERP systems and tax technology solutions is an advantage.

- Salary is negotiable based on merit and experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates currently working in Audit or Consulting firms.
- Candidates with industry only experience will generally not be considered unless they possess exceptional UAE VAT and e Invoicing expertise.
