- Lead and manage overall operational activities across the facility
- Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety
- Oversee product grading processes, ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and customers
- Understand partner requirements and ensure operational processes meet their expectations
- Coordinate closely with the logistics department to ensure timely movement of goods
- Manage and lead large blue collar workforce, including workforce planning, supervision, and performance management
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements to increase productivity
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company operational standards
- Drive operational excellence while maintaining cost efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within second hand apparel, footwear, textile recycling, garment manufacturing, or warehouse industry
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory flow
- Strong experience in product grading and quality control processes
- Hands on knowledge and operational experience with textile shredding machines is mandatory
- Experience managing large blue collar teams in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with logistics and cross functional teams
- Excellent problem solving, planning, and decision making abilities
