Position Summary

  • The role is dedicated to KSA, supporting MEA region, part of EMEA Compliance team.
  • Responsible for improving financial compliance, monitoring, and providing expert advice to mitigate financial risk for hotels.

What will I be doing?

  • Conduct control reviews within MEA region, focused on KSA.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Operations Finance, Internal Audit, etc.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance.
  • Lead long term culture change programs and compliance education.
  • Shape compliance messaging and communication plans.
  • Analyze CSA and SPACE results to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Own compliance KPIs across KSA and MEA.
  • Contribute to evaluation and streamlining of business processes.
  • Build risk profiles of hotels and build framework to safeguard business.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit, including follow up on remediation points.
  • Collaborate with Pre Opening team to embed compliant processes.
  • Ensure compliance is part of hotel life cycle.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of.
  • Qualified accountant or working towards qualification.
  • Experience in hotel operations with good understanding of finance processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of hotel operations and systems used by Hilton finance.
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS & Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Audit experience.
