- We're partnering with a leading organisation in Dubai to find an experienced Senior Liferay Developer to join their growing digital team.
- This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone ready to hit the ground running.
- 📌 The Role
- You'll be designing, developing, and customising enterprise-grade portal applications using Liferay DXP/Portal — working across integrations, performance optimisation, and Agile delivery environments.
- 🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications using Liferay DXP/Portal
- Develop custom portlets, OSGi modules, services, hooks, and themes
- Integrate Liferay with enterprise systems, APIs, and authentication platforms
- Customise workflows, roles, permissions, and content management features
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design
- Troubleshoot, debug, and performance-tune applications
- Support CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with BA, QA, and UI/UX teams
✅ What You Bring
- 6+ years of Liferay development experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Liferay DXP / Liferay 7.x
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot
- Experience with MVC Portlets, OSGi Modules, and Service Builder
- REST & SOAP API integration skills
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, and Servlet technologies
- Database experience (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
