About the Role
We are hiring an advanced chip-level repair technician to diagnose and fix Apple devices and other laptops/smartphones by repairing boards and replacing faulty components. The role requires strong micro-soldering skills, schematic reading, and experience with iPhone/iPad board-level faults.

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnosis on MacBook, iPhone, iPad, laptops, and smartphones (no power, liquid damage, short circuits, boot loop, no display, charging issues, data issues, etc.)
- Identify root cause using schematics/boardviews and testing tools
- Carry out micro soldering and component level repairs (IC replacement/reballing, connector replacement, backlight/charging circuits, short finding, etc.)
- Handle liquid damage repairs: ultrasonic/cleaning, corrosion treatment, trace repair/jumper work
- Safely open and reassemble devices, perform part replacements (screens, batteries, keyboards, trackpads, speakers, ports, cameras, housings, etc.)
- Test thoroughly after repair: charging/current draw, boot, display, Wi Fi/Bluetooth, sensors, cameras, speakers, Touch ID/Face ID
- Record diagnosis findings, parts used, before/after results
- Follow ESD safety and workshop standards
Requirements
- Strong chip level repair skills for iPhone/iPad smartphone boards
- Confident in short detection, power rail troubleshooting, micro soldering under microscope, connector replacement, trace repair, and reading schematics/boardview
- Experience with tools like DC power supply, multimeter, hot air station, soldering station, microscope, rework tools
- At least 4 years of Level 3 repair experience
- Own visa is an added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnosis on MacBook, iPhone, iPad, laptops, and smartphones (no power, liquid damage, short circuits, boot loop, no display, charging issues, data issues, etc.)
- Identify root cause using schematics/boardviews and testing tools
- Create a clear repair plan with estimated time/cost and required parts
- Carry out micro soldering and component level repairs (IC replacement/reballing if required, connector replacement, backlight/charging circuits, short finding, etc.)
- Handle liquid damage repairs: ultrasonic/cleaning, corrosion treatment, trace repair/jumper work
- Replace faulty parts/components on board level with proper testing and quality checks
- Safely open and reassemble devices with best practices
- Perform part replacements: screens, batteries, keyboards, trackpads, speakers, ports, cameras, housings etc.
- Ensure proper seal/fitment, cable routing, and no cosmetic damage
- Test thoroughly after repair: charging/current draw, boot, display, Wi Fi/Bluetooth, sensors, cameras, speakers, Touch ID/Face ID (where applicable)
- Maintain low repeat repairs by proper diagnosis and final QA checks
- Record diagnosis findings, parts used, before/after results
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong chip level repair skills for iPhone/iPad smartphone boards
- Confident in short detection and power rail troubleshooting, micro soldering under microscope, connector replacement and trace repair, reading and using schematics/boardview
- Experience with tools like DC power supply, multimeter, hot air station, soldering station, microscope, rework tools, cleaning equipment (ultrasonic is a plus)
- Wi Fi and Audio IC repair, Face ID repair (Apple), LCD IC replacement and rebelling
- Experience with common Apple platforms: iPhone/iPad board level faults
- Data focused approach (especially MacBook / iPhone data protection mindset)
- Ability to handle urgent repairs and maintain clean workmanship
- Own visa (added advantage)

- Pay: From AED 4,000.00 per month
