Senior Java Software Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications with Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and product teams.
• Build responsive interfaces using React.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Integrate AI services and intelligent automation into enterprise applications.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot.
• Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.

Experience and Education

• The posting specifies 4-10 years of experience.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is listed.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, React.js, API, and integration experience is required.

Backend Development

• Strong experience with Java 8, 11, or 17+.

Frontend Development

• Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, API gateways, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP.

AI and Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms is listed.
• Understanding of generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-based automation is listed.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or other AI APIs is listed.
• Agile/Scrum, DevOps tools, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and event-driven architecture experience are preferred.
