Senior IT Engineer (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Technical Support and Infrastructure

• Resolve complex hardware, software, network, and system-related issues for end users.
• Maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
• Plan and execute upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, hardware refreshes, and software deployments.
• Evaluate new technologies through proof-of-concept initiatives and recommend suitable solutions.

Collaboration and Service Management

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application support, and project management teams.
• Validate technology architecture and solution designs with stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Adhere to service level agreements and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior IT team members when required.

Continuity, Documentation, and Systems

• Maintain data retention, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, configurations, and knowledge base articles.
• Monitor IT systems, networks, and security controls for performance and compliance.
• Support ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, firewalls, managed switches, VPNs, and WAFs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in end-user support and enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience managing enterprise security solutions, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and IT Service Management frameworks is highly desirable.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or other project-driven industries is advantageous.
