Senior IT Engineer (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex hardware, software, network, and system-related issues for end users.
• Maintain enterprise infrastructure, IT systems, networks, and security controls.
• Plan and execute upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, hardware refreshes, and software deployments.
• Participate in technology proof-of-concept initiatives and recommend suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application support, and project management teams.
• Validate architecture and solution designs with stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Maintain SLA adherence and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and data retention procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, configurations, and knowledge articles.
• Manage ManageEngine and ServiceNow ITSM and helpdesk platforms.
• Support Microsoft Teams and other Unified Communications solutions.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, managed switches, VPNs, and WAFs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in end-user support and enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise security solutions, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms.
• ITIL and IT Service Management knowledge is highly desirable.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Project-driven industry experience is advantageous.
