Dallah Health seeks a Senior IT Asset Officer to oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory frameworks. The role involves procurement, inventory control, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices
- Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
- Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintain end-to-end records of IT assets (hardware and software) including acquisition, assignment, transfers, maintenance, and decommissioning
- Monitor asset health and coordinate proactive replacement or upgrades based on lifecycle status and hospital operational needs
- Maintain proper asset tagging and tracking throughout the hospital departments
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain departments regarding IT asset purchases and deliveries
- Verify asset deliveries against purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory updates
- Manage storage of spare IT assets and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Perform periodic physical inventory audits of IT assets across hospital units
- Ensure alignment of asset records with financial and accounting systems where applicable
Requirements
- Experience in IT asset management
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Experience with asset lifecycle management
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with asset tracking and tagging
- Ability to conduct inventory audits
- Experience with asset documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of asset procurement planning
- Ability to collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments
