Role Overview
Provide occupational therapy to inpatient and outpatient patients.
Assess patient conditions and deliver rehabilitation programs and treatment plans.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct physical and psychological assessments and develop or follow treatment plans.
- Assess home and work environments and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Advise on adaptive equipment for daily activities.
- Develop rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills.
- Educate caregivers and family members on patient care.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and patient progress.
- Evaluate physical and basic mental health conditions.
- Provide on-call treatment for patients.
Care Standards and Operations
- Maintain professional knowledge and technical progress to provide appropriate treatment programs.
- Implement hospital policies and procedures supporting standards of care and quality performance improvement.
- Return treatment-room equipment to its proper place through the department rehabilitation support process.
- Perform other duties within professional knowledge and skills as directed by the department head.
Requirements
- Provide occupational therapy within the scope of professional knowledge and skills.
- Maintain professional knowledge and technical awareness to provide appropriate treatment programs.
- Be available for on-call treatment of patients.
