Role Overview
Manage assigned patients to the highest attainable standard of care within the resources of Dallah Hospital.
Evaluate and treat inpatient and outpatient patients referred to the Physiotherapy Department according to treatment plans.
Clinical Treatment
- Assess patients and prepare treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provide chest therapy according to patient needs.
- Conduct specific pre- and post-partum exercises for female patients when applicable.
- Provide manual massage and medical exercise to inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide on-call treatment for patients.
Treatment Area Readiness
- Return machines used in the treatment room to their proper place.
- Coordinate cleaning and repair of beds and treatment tools after patient sessions.
- Coordinate daily cleaning of equipment used during treatment.
- Prepare the room for the next patient when the porter is unavailable.
Quality and Education
- Implement policies and procedures supporting hospital goals, standards of care, and quality improvement.
- Educate patients and families to help them understand and participate in care decisions.
- Perform other duties within professional knowledge and skills as directed by the Head of Physiotherapy.
Requirements
- Evaluate and treat patients referred to the Physiotherapy Department according to a treatment plan.
- Provide physiotherapy care for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide chest therapy based on patient needs.
- Provide specific exercises for female patients during the pre- and post-partum periods when applicable.
- Work within the scope of professional physiotherapy knowledge and skills.
