- Analyze and prepare draft audit universe and annual risk based audit plan
- Audit and monitor compliance with laws, policies, procedures, and governance systems
- Conduct internal audit assignments, periodic and surprise checks, and prepare reports
- Prepare audit reports with observations and recommendations
- Review responses from organizational units on Dubai Financial Audit Authority observations
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions from audit reports
- Audit selected samples of budget execution, account reconciliations, financial statements, and expenditures
- Prepare and update risk registers (institutional, operational, and information security) for the internal audit office
- Analyze efficiency and effectiveness of financial and operational resource use
- Analyze and examine IT internal controls, assess design and effectiveness, identify risk exposure, and develop treatment strategies
- Analyze and examine the department's technical systems and report deficiencies in network, applications, and systems security
- Analyze and examine cybersecurity and information security control systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administrative Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 9 years of experience for Master's, 6 for PhD, or equivalent in similar fields
- Professional certifications in cyber resilience, business continuity, crisis management, incident response, or IT disaster recovery (e.g., CBCP, MBCP, CBCI)
- UAE nationality required

Job Description
- Enable the department to apply approved governance standards and procedures for financial and administrative operations control.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit (financial and operational) in accordance with work plans, laws, regulations, and strategic directions.
- Analyze and prepare draft annual audit plan within the framework of risk assessment and performance indicators.
- Provide feedback to the internal audit office and relevant organizational units.
