Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of interior design projects, including conceptual design, space planning, material selection, and installation.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their vision is realized throughout the design process.
- Design Development: Create compelling design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that effectively communicate your ideas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure seamless integration of interior spaces with architectural elements.
- Material Selection: Research and specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes that align with design concepts and budget constraints.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of design documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite) and rendering tools.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
