Role Overview
Salt is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer for a high-profile technology environment in Abu Dhabi.
The role connects digital products and automation services with complex enterprise platforms across ERP, HR, finance, collaboration, and custom applications.
This is a 12-month initial contract with extensions and is not limited to ETL or middleware administration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement system-to-system integrations using APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and enterprise workflow patterns.
- Define API contracts and standards, transform enterprise data models, and establish canonical schemas where appropriate.
- Build resilient integrations with retries, timeouts, idempotency, reconciliation, dead-letter processing, and partial-failure handling.
- Implement enterprise authentication, API lifecycle standards, auditability, traceability, and sensitive-data handling.
- Build production logging, monitoring, and alerting, troubleshoot cross-system issues, and support testing, UAT, deployment, and rollout.
Required Experience
- At least 6 years of enterprise integration or backend engineering experience with hands-on API and integration-service development.
