Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal business related to Engineering and Energy portfolio
- Respond to insurance inquiries and correspondence from clients and brokers
- Issue quotations for new and renewal policies
- Prepare and issue policy documents, endorsements, and certifications
- Prepare tenders and insurance proposals based on client requirements
- Analyze risk exposure and assess underwriting capacity in line with company guidelines
- Determine premium rates in accordance with underwriting policies and pricing models
- Update and maintain policy data and documentation in internal systems
- Coordinate with reinsurance brokers for placement and support reinsurance processes
- Ensure compliance with AML procedures and internal policies
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
Requirements
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Strong experience in Engineering and Energy insurance underwriting
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Insurance, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CII, ACII, or equivalent are preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance terms, conditions, and claims processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Power BI is an advantage
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
